29 States will participate in Sub Junior Artistic Gymnastics National Championship

The sub Junior Artistic Gymnastics National Championship (Boys and Girls) will be held at Khudiram Anushilan Kendra from February 16 to 19. The state Sports Minister Arup Biswas will inaugurate the tournament on February 16.

The state Sports Minister Arup Biswas will inaugurate the tournament on February 16. This was announced in a media conference organized by West Bengal Gymnastic Association at the Calcutta Sports Journalist Club on Monday. According to the state association, the state government has come forward to help financially to make this tournament a grand success.

The players like Olympian Pranti Naik and other international gymnasts like Pranati Das, Tumpa Debnath, and Satyajit Mondal were present on the day and they expressed satisfaction about the government help. The state gymnastics team won five gold medals, five silver medals and two bronze medals in the last National Games held in Gujarat. 29 States, 750 Gymnasts including 100 technical and Olympians and medal winners in the national level from will participate in this tournament.
