Commenting on the final, Ramesh explained, “In a style and perfectness Pragganandha started the final, especially the sharpness he showed in the first game, he could have been the winner. But I feel, due to tiredness his game collapsed. Still, I am happy with his performance."

Ramesh, the Mark Dvoretsky awardee given by FIDE in 2019, divulged, "He wanted to become World Champion from his childhood like all other chess kids. But most of the kids feel one day they will be World Champions and their coaches will help them to achieve the feat. But Pragganandha was exceptionally hard working. He used to train for eight to 10 hours with intense concentration and spirit. I have been watching his passion right from the beginning when he was admitted to my academy at the age of eight.”
