Things are getting worse day-by-day in Indian Football. Even after such a tragic incident where two women footballers of Khad FC alleged against AIFF executive committee member Deepak Sharma of trying to molest, NDTV revealed another unfortunate incident.
According to the NDTV report, the AIFF Women's Committee head and Khad FC manager met with the women footballers and asked them to take back their complaints, but the girls reiterated they would not change their stance.
Significantly, Nandita Sharma, team manager of Khad FC is also the wife of Himachal Pradesh Football Association secretary and AIFF executive committee member Deepak Sharma.
The AIFF President Kalyan Chaubey has instructed the newly formed three-member committee, comprising Ms. Pinky Bompal Magar (executive committee member) as Chair-woman, Rita Jairath (safety and child safeguarding officer) and Vijay Bali to submit a report within seven days.
Deepak Sharma, who was allegedly involved in the unfortunate incident, has been directed to step back and refrain from participating in all football-related activities until the conclusion of the committee's process.
