The All India Football Federation (AIFF) has imposed heavy penalties on Inter Kashi FC, the debutant in the ongoing I-League from Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. Simultaneously, the AIFF has reportedly made a caution to the club for not taking the NOC (No Objection Certificate) from the Indian Football Association before playing their I-League match against Delhi FC at Kalyani Stadium ground on Friday. Inter Kashi defeated Delhi FC 2-0 riding Asif Khan and Lamela Garrido’s strike. 

The IFA however has already sent an email to the AIFF seeking clarification on Inter Kashi’s negligence to take the NOC from IFA before the match. 

The club representative however could not be contacted for a reaction on the issue but the AIFF top brass is reportedly angry with the Varanasi club's dilly-dallying attitude in completing the primary infrastructural work that includes a proper ground. 

It is learned that Inter Kashi FC which promised the federation's top brass to make their home ground in Varanasi completely ready before they start their campaign in the ongoing I-league has not yet been able to make it ready. 

Even, the club promised the AIFF ground-inspection team that their home ground in Varanasi would be ready as soon as possible. The AIFF's ground inspection team visited Varanasi around two weeks ago. It is also learned that the I-League debutant made requests to the AIFF to slot their away matches first before scheduling their home matches.

The federation however has sent the warning to the club, tying up dates to complete the ground-repairing job so that they can play their I-League home matches at home.
