The AIFF finally suspended its executive committee member, Deepak Sharma for being alleged of making physical assault of two girl footballers of Khad FC during the second division of Indian Women’s League (IWL). In an emergency committee meeting the decision was taken. The committee comprised the president, vice president and the treasurer. 

The accused Sharma was summoned and heard for a few minutes before being asked to leave the discussion. 

The executive committee has decided to bar Sharma, also the secretary of Himachal Pradesh Football Association from being involved in any football related activities till further notice. 

The AIFF at the same time, has formed a two-member committee to make a thorough investigation on the matter.
