Amenity School reaches the final of the Arsenal Cup among 800 teams, will play the final at London Stadium

Amenity School which has also been founded by Arora defeated Sanjay Ghodawat of Maharashtra by a huge margin of 12 goals in the semifinal held in Goa.

Subhash Arora, the former footballer from Uttarakhand who founded the first professional club in the state Corbett FC, is now planning to make an official tie-up with Arsenal Academy after his under-15 boys who are studying at Amenity Public School reached the final of the Youth Championship, Arsenal Cup on Friday. 

Amenity School which has also been founded by Arora defeated Sanjay Ghodawat of Maharashtra by a huge margin of 12 goals in the semifinal held in Goa. Under the guidance of coach Amit Verma, Amenity Public School will be playing against Manipur in the final. Manipur defeated Kerala by three goals in the other semi-final. The tournament continued for the last four months with 800 school teams participating in the four zonal championships. 

Arora said, "The scouts from Arsenal academy came to us around seven years ago, approaching me whether I was interested to make any official association with their academy. But we did not have adequate infrastructure at that time. So I refused. But now we have built up modern infrastructure. So, I am going with the team and will talk to them regarding a tie-up between our school and Arsenal Academy."

Aurora revealed also that the senior scouts of Arsenal Academy will also select a couple of highly potential footballers from the final and offer them training at EPL's premier club academy providing scholarships also.
