Ankur Bhattacharjee emerged as the champion of U-19 category of 85th UTT National TT championship at the Netaji Indoor Stadium. In the all Bengal final he beat Bodhiswata Chowdhury by 4 – 0. In the second and fourth game Bodhiswata gave some fight taking the game to a tie. Last year in Chennai Ankur lost in the semifinal.  Ankur proved superior on the day. He not only played attacking but also defended well making him a clever player.

In the U-19 doubles category it was Ankur and Bodhiswata pair defeated Sarath Misra and Divyansh Srivastav pair of UP. 

Like the U19 category the U-17 final was all Assam. In the final Priyanuj Bhattacharjee defeated Divyaj Rajkhowa in the final The U-17 doubles final was won by P B Abhinandan and R Balamurugan of Tamil Nadu. They defeated Sharveya Samant and Vineet Deepak of Maharashtra. 

Mr Kamalesh Mehta, eight times National Champion, was present at the stadium to witness the finals.
