Lucknow Super Giants beat Rajasthan Royals by 10 runs in the IPL 2023 match at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur.
Rajasthan skipper Sanju Samson won the toss and sent Lucknow Super Giants into bat in Jaipur on Wednesday. Lucknow scored only 154 runs for losing 7 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Kyle Myers scored a fighting half-century. He returned to the dressing room with 51 runs off 42 balls with the help of 4 fours and 3 sixes. Captain Lokesh Rahul played an inning of 39 runs. He hit 4 fours and 1 six in an inning of 32 balls.
Chasing that run, Rajasthan finished with 144 runs. Rajasthan Royals scored 87 runs in the opening pair. Jasswi Jaswal scored 44 runs off 35 balls with the help of 2 fours and 4 sixes. Buttler left the field after playing a slow inning of 40 runs off 41 balls with the help of 4 fours and one six. In the end, Rajasthan was stuck at 144 runs for 6 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Rajasthan needed 19 runs to win in the last over. However, they could not get more than 8 runs after losing 2 wickets in Abesh's over. As a result, Royals had to leave the field after losing the match by 10 runs.
