Indian archer Deepika Kumari advanced to the quarterfinals of the Women's Individual Archery at the Paris Olympics. Her compatriot Bhajan Kaur, on the other hand, crashed out in the Round of 16 after losing in the shoot-off stage. 

Indian shooter Manu Bhaker missed out on a medal after finishing 4th in the Women's 25m Pistol final at the Paris Olympics 2024. 

Manu lost the 3rd-4th place elimination play-off to miss out on what would've been her third medal of the ongoing Olympics in the French capital. 

Later in the day, boxer Nishant Dev will also fight in the men's 71kg quarterfinal. He is one win away from confirming a medal for India.
