Arjun Tendulkar has a memorable debut - Ishan Kishan and Suryakumar Yadav give Mumbai a 5-wicket win

Mumbai beat Kolkata by 5 wickets with 14 balls to spare at the Wankhede. They got their second win in a row. Kolkata lost two matches in a row

KKR faced Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede Stadium on Sunday. Arjun Tendulkar made his debut while Surya Kumar led the home side as skipper Rohit Sharma had to be dropped out due to a health hazard. 

The day was significant as Reliance Foundation under the leadership of Mrs. Nita Ambani observed the “Education and Sports for all day” for which they arranged for huge young lady spectators at the ground to witness the game. Showing honor to the champion team MI wore the same jersey used by the women’s team and in presence of the Indian Women’s Cricket team captain and also captain of MI Women’s premier league Ms. Harmanprit Kaur. Other members of the MI women’s team were also present on the ground.

MI winning the toss put KKR to bat first. With Venkatesh Iyer slammed 104 off 51 balls. Nitish Rana failed today being out cheaply. KKR managed to score a respectable total of 185/6 in 20 overs,

MI chasing the total reached the target with 14 balls to spare.  Opener and wicket-keeper Ishan Kishan slammed 58 runs while stand-in-captain Surya Kumar Yadav clipped 43 runs. KKR bowlers could not make a mark over the MI batting. The most successful bowler for KKR was Suyash Sharma 2/27
