Arsenal returns to the top of the League table defeating Chelsea 3 -1

Martin Odegaard scores twice in the match

Arsenal returned to the top of the Premier League table after their 3–1 victory against Chelsea at the Emirates Stadium. The visitors faced their sixth consecutive loss under Frank Lampard.

Chelsea fielded their side following their 2 – 0 defeat against Brentford in the earlier match. The first half was a completely one-sided match. Martin Odegaard scored the first two goals taking advantage of the dismal Chelsea defense. Gabrial Jesus added the third. 

Midway through the second half Noni Madueke banged a consolation goal for the visiting team. Chelsea is now placed in the 12th position. The victory takes Arsenal two points ahead of Manchester City side.
