Dropped from the squad for the two-match Test series in West Indies, veteran Cheteshwar Pujara’s father and coach Arvind Pujara is hopeful that his son will once again make a comeback in the Indian team. After being ousted from the World Test Championship, many in the cricket world believe that Pujara played his last Test for the Indian team.

Arvind said that his son can make a comeback to the national team and has already started his preparations for the Duleep Trophy. He said, “He is very strong mentally. I can’t comment on selection. But from what I have seen, he is batting at his best. He was working hard in the nets the same day after the West Indies team was announced. “He has started preparing for the Duleep Trophy and will continue to play in the county circuit. As a father and coach, there is no reason for me to believe why he cannot make a comeback.
