Aryan Nehra qualified for the Hangzhou Asian Games swimming after clocking his career-best 8:03:15 in men’s 800m Free Style in the TYR Pro Swim Series in Westmont on April 12.
Aryan Nehra qualified for the Hangzhou Asian Games swimming after clocking his career-best 8:03:15 in men’s 800m Free Style in the TYR Pro Swim Series in Westmont on April 12. He cut more than six seconds off his previous best and became the third fasted Indian over the distance. He will also participate in the forthcoming swimming World Championship to be held at Fukuoka, Japan, for which he is undergoing intense training.
Earlier Aryan represented Gujrat in the 36th National Games at Rajkot and bagged the silver medal. He also won the silver medal in the men’s 1500-meter category clocking a time of 16 minutes 3 sec.
