In an exciting and closely contested match, Mohun Bagan Super Giant emerged victorious in their opening U-17 Youth League encounter against United Sports Club with a slim 1-0 win, at the Mohun Bagan ground. The match although, could have taken a completely different turn if not for a controversial disallowed goal, wherein a spectacular bicycle kick in the top right corner was not counted. 

The decision left fans and players alike debating, as it would have put United SC in the lead. However, Mohun Bagan capitalized on their opportunities and managed to find the back of the net in a hard-fought battle.

United SC had a chance to score when they were awarded a penalty, but unfortunately, they failed to convert their opportunity but the home team pushed hard and eventually secured the winning goal. As a result, the match concluded with a final score of 1-0 in favor of Mohun Bagan.

Both teams showcased their skills and put up a commendable show on the field and the match was a testament to their talent and determination.
