Bengaluru FC secured the top spot on the table with an emphatic 3-0 victory over Mohun Bagan Super Giants on Saturday at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium. Chhetri created history with his penalty shoot as he became the top goal scorer in ISL history. 

Edgar Mendez scored the first net for the game just in 9 minutes. MBSG got a few opportunities but couldn't score the net.

At 20 minutes Suresh doubled the lead for Bengaluru while he got a brilliant assist from Sunil Chhetri. MBSG got a few free kicks and corners but the result was not fruitful for the team. 

BFC got a penalty as Mendez was fouled by Dippendu inside the box, and Sunil Chhetri scored for the net, creating history. 

Bengaluru FC dominated the match from start to finish, the team’s commanding performance solidified their position as league leaders, leaving the home crowd in high spirits.
