Bangladesh Struggle on Day 3; Ashwin Strikes With Ball

Ashwin captured 3 wickets giving away 63 runs.

Bangladesh slumped to 158/4 after the Day 3 of the First Series against India. The early stump was called due to bad lighting. Bangladesh has to start 10 minutes early tomorrow to make up for today’s lost time.

On the third day, Bangladesh lost a few key wickets. As Zakir Hasan was struck down by Bumrah at 33 runs in 47 balls. Later on, Shadman Islam was dismissed at 35 (68).

R Ashwin provided India a breakthrough when he dismissed Mominul Haque and Mushfiqur Rahim at 13, 13 respectively.

The scoreboard certainly indicates India's dominance as Bangladesh is chasing a mammoth target of 515. Bangladesh is now on the back foot.
