Bangladesh Whitewashed Pakistan in Test Series

Pakistan took the bat first and was bundled up at 274 runs against the astonishing bowling of Mehidy Hasan Miraz

Bangladesh whitewashed Pakistan in the two-test series, winning both the test matches. The team scripted the first-ever test series victory against Pakistan with 2-0. They won the 2nd test match by 6 wickets, in Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.

The home team took the bat first and was bundled up at 274 runs against the astonishing bowling of Mehidy Hasan Miraz. Bangladesh had a rough start as they lost 6 wickets for only 26 runs. Litton Das and Mehidy gave a great fight helping Bangladesh to score 262 runs, in the first innings.

Even the lead of 8 runs didn’t prove to be much useful for Pakistan. They assembled only 172 runs in the second inning. Bangladesh needed only 185 runs to win. This remarks clearly a heroic win in Bangladesh’s history.
