Indian cricket team are unlikely to visit Pakistan for the Champions Trophy. The ICC can follow the hybrid model to organize the Champions Trophy. Team India can play either UAE or Srilanka. This time Pakistan have the hosting rights for ICC Champions Trophy.

A source close to BCCI confirmed this to India Today. Prevoiusly India team denied to visit Pakistan for Asia Cup and followed a hybrid model. This time also India wants to go with that same strategy. The final decision will take Government of India on this matter.

A source close to BCCI said this to India today, “it is highly unlikely that he team will travel to Pakistan for the Champions Trophy, but a final will be taken by the government”.

Pakistan submitted a drfat schedule to ICC a month ago. Team India’s match were scheduled in Lahore. However, there is no official confirmation from BCCI on this matter
