Mizoram government has traced the key persons behind the match-fixing that rocked state football, and according to the observation, there is a Bengal connection to the corruption.
Mizoram Football Association has already issued a statement saying that through the support of local law enforcement agencies, they uncovered cases of corruption in the league.
At the same time, it is observed that the Mizoram government is going to be the first state government that is already in the process of introducing a law that will implement severe punishment on the 'accused' involved in influencing the teams, the footballers and the club officials to try to fix matches.
