Bengal crash out of the Vijay Hazare Trophy with a 72-run loss against Haryana

Mohammed Shami was the gain from Bengal’s feeble show as the ace fast bowler scalped three wickets, giving away 61 runs in 10 overs.

Bengal crashed out of the Vijay Hazare Trophy, losing to Haryana by 72 runs. Bengal, chasing 299 to win the match, were all out for 226. 

Abhishek Porel and Anustup Majumder were the only two players who tried to offer resistance by scoring 57 off 78 deliveries and 36 off 34 runs, respectively. Haryana, batting first, scored 298 for the loss of nine wickets in 50 overs.
