Bengal emerged champions in national Finswimming championship for third time

Bengal's dominance was further evident as the team comprising 123 competitors, produced seven individual champions in both male and female categories across various age groups.

The third National Finswimming Championship was held in Pune from 3rd to 5th September. More than 1200 participants from 32 states of officials , 150 Coaches, 2 International experts took part in the event organized by Underwater Sports federation of India.

West Bengal showcased exceptional performance securing the coveted title of national Finswimming championship for the third consecutive year. 

The Kerala team displayed remarkable skills and secured the second position, while Telangana claimed the third position in the overall standings. Bengal's dominance was further evident as the team comprising 123 competitors, produced seven individual champions in both male and female categories across various age groups. 

Underwater Sports Association of Bengal, under the guidance of esteemed patron, Sujit Bose, minister of state (independent charge) fire and emergency service was instrumental in the development and progress of the sport in the region.
