Bengal girls trounced Arunachal Pradesh 4-1 in the semi-final of the Khelo India Women football championship on Wednesday at Balaghat and ensured a berth in the final. Coach Rajdip Nandy had praise for the girls as he said, "The girls dished out excellent performance and they were consistent almost throughout the match." Moushumi Murmu struck twice while Monalisa Marandi and Rimpa Halder scored one each. Bengal was leading by a brace after the first half.
