The 85th Junior and Youth National TT contest entered day seven today. In the teams semifinal host West Bengal clashed against Tamil Nadu while National Centre of Excellence (NCOE) faced Utter Pradesh. 

Ankur Bhattacharjee put Bengal 1 – 0 up winning the game 3 - 0, Bodhisatwa and Shankadip also got the better over their opponents.  P. B. Abhinand put up a fight against Bodhisatwa when the latter won by 3 – 2. Against Balamurugan, Shankadip dropped four tie-points before winning the game.

In the other semifinal UP started with Sarth Mishra defeating Praneet Bhaskaran. Star player Divyansh had a tough time against Soumil Mukherjee before winning the match. Emon Adhikari made the score line 2 -1. In the reverse semifinal Divyansh defeated Praneet making the score line 3 -1 in favor of UP.

Bengal will face UP in the finals tomorrow.
