Bengal’s hopes of clinching the National Games 2025 football title were dashed after a 4-1 defeat to Haryana in the semi-finals. The lone scorer for Bengal was Ranjita Devi.
With this win, Haryana has secured the second position in the National Games 2025 Group A points table in the women's division.

Bengal will now fight for the bronze medal against Delhi on February 6. However, their challenge could be tougher as two key players are reportedly sidelined due to serious injuries.
Meanwhile, in Group B, where Bengal was leading, their defeat to Haryana has altered the standings.
