Bengal's 33rd Santosh Trophy-winning team was greeted with a grand reception at Dum Dum Airport upon their victorious return to the city. West Bengal Sports Minister Aroop Biswas welcomed the team and praised their hard work and performance, saying they made the state proud.

The Indian Football Association (IFA) was represented by President Ajit Banerjee, Chairman Subrata Dutta, Secretary Anirban Dutta, Vice Presidents Swarup Biswas and Dilip Narayan Saha, as well as Joint Secretaries Rakesh Jha and Mohammed Jamal. Executive Secretary Sufal Ranjan Giri and Sudeshna Mukherjee were also present to honour the team’s success.

The homecoming ceremony reflected the pride and enthusiasm that the Bengal team’s victory has reignited among fans and officials alike, with hopes of continued success in the years ahead.
