The Bhaichung Bhutia Football Schools (BBFS) and Premier League club Southampton FC are expanding their collaboration with the launch of two new residential football academies in Karnataka and Punjab.

There are existing campuses scattered all over India in New Delhi, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, and Meghalaya. Bhutia stated that the new academies will continue on their commitment of BBFS's mission to deliver world-class football education across India, further expanding opportunities for promising players in key regions.

Bhaichung further shed light on his goal sharing that, -  "Our partnership with Southampton FC brings global best practices in football coaching to India. With the opening of these two new campuses in Punjab and Karnataka, we aim to provide unparalleled opportunities for young footballers to develop their skills and prepare for success at the highest levels,".

The academy in Punjab will take up responsibilities with assistance from Om Parkash Bansal Modern School. Whereas BBFS center in Karnataka will be associated with Akash International School. 

Since 2018, the three-star AIFF-accredited academy has been dedicated to both football excellence and the holistic development of its student-athletes. It has produced talents like Manbhakupar Malngiang, Lionel D Rymmei, and Bonifilia India, who have competed in age-level tournaments.
