Bhaichung says AIFF, IFA and Mohammedan Sporting should come forward with financial help for ailing Subho

Along with Bhaichung, many other superstars of Indian football like IM Vijayan, Venkatesh, and Alvito D Cunha have come forward.

Former captain of the Indian football team Bhaichung Bhutia has opined that the All India Football Federation (AIFF), the Indian Football Association (IFA), and Mohammedan Sporting Club should come forward with financial assistance for the ailing Subho Das, the former footballer who played for Mohammedan Sporting, Kalighat MS and Kolkata’s many other premier teams in the CFL.

Shuvo Das has been going through dire financial distress after half of his right hand was amputated. The situation worsened as despite being a primary school teacher he has not been receiving salary for the last five months and simultaneously, he has been facing great difficulty in repaying the loan amount, taken for the treatment of his cerebral attack and then amputation.

Following a discussion with former India international footballers Ranjit Mukherjee and Swapan Sengupta, Parallel Sports has decided to organize a fund-raising match for the footballer.

Along with Bhaichung, many other superstars of Indian football like IM Vijayan, Venkatesh, and Alvito D Cunha have come forward, confirming their participation in the charity match and appealing to the football fraternity of Bengal and India to stand beside Subho and those footballers who have been struggling to survive financially and fighting against severe diseases.

Subho also, in an exclusive interview with Parallel Sports YouTube, has thanked Ranjit Mukherjee who was his coach at Khardaha Football Academy, Lal Kamal Bhowmick, Arindam Bhattacharya who already has donated Rs 20 thousand each for him, and ultimately Parallel Sports for organizing the match for him.
