Biswajit Bhattacharya plans to restrict players to nurture social media on cell phones during the tournament, confident about the boys' comeback

Bengal coach Biswajit Bhattacharya still believes the boys will make a comeback in the next matches

After a surprising 1-2 defeat at the hands of Services in the ongoing final phase senior national championship for the Santosh Trophy at Bhubneswar on Monday morning. Bengal took the lead through Narahari Sreshtha in the 16th minute. Still, they had to concede two goals in the second session in the 41st and 82nd minute, respectively. A draw against Delhi in their opening match and then a defeat on Monday place Bengal in a difficult situation where they must have to win in all three upcoming group league matches.

However, Bengal coach Biswajit Bhattacharya under whose guidance Bengal won the title in National Games last year admitted while speaking from Bhubaneswar, "Yes, the situation has become difficult. We are in a must-win situation now. We have to win all our next three quarterfinal group league matches as well as we will have to look at other teams whether any of them loses points."

But at the same time, the experienced coach sounded confident that the boys must come back in the next three matches, and in a bid to make the footballers more united and focused before the matches, the coach is planning to restrict his footballers from involving them with the social media in their mobile phones.

Bhattacharya said, "I had imposed it previously also. Even if any player is seen getting watching any social website on his mobile phone in his hotel room during the tournament he will also be punished. I want to do the same here again before our next three crucial matches."

Bhattacharya also lamented exclaiming, "Except Customs FC, most of the teams play foreign strikers in the Kolkata Premier League and the reflection is that the potential Bengali strikers are gradually getting lost. Jiten Murmu was not registered. Rabi Hasda suffered from injury and we do not have many options in the forward. Subrata Murmu missed sitters today against Services. I will try to motivate him and others in tomorrow's class. I am optimistic that they will make a comeback. I know they were shocked by the defeat today."
