The men in blue secured a historic win against Bangladesh. In a recent interview when the star pacer Jasprit Bumrah was asked about another potential pacer Akash Deep’s stance in the future, he delightfully stated -
“He comes up to me quite a lot before these games asking me ‘What is happening?’ ‘What do you think I should do?’ We had a lot of interesting conversations.”
“The energy he brings onto the ball he gives it absolute best in the field and as well as he is bowling so he has got a lot of heart to it.”
He concluded with a positing note saying - “It’s a great sign for us going forward as well and whenever he comes into bowling he gives his absolute best. So yes I am very happy with the way he is progressing and hopefully, he grows strength.”

After the second and third matches were cancelled due to a wet outfield and rain at the Green Park Stadium, Kanpur fans were almost sure that the match was heading toward a draw.
