Mohun Bagan Athletic Club celebrated the centenary birth anniversary of Padmashree and Mohun Bagan Ratna - Late. Sailen Manna at Khudiram Anushilan Kendra in association with Kalighat Sports Lovers Association on Friday. 

The program was commenced by an inauguration song presented by – ‘Voice of World’ followed by a Cake Cutting ceremony by all the respected and eminent guests present. Shri Debashis Dutta (General Secretary) welcomed everyone present. He exclaimed: “As Kalighat Sports Lovers Association have been observing the birth anniversary of Late. Sailen Manna every year since more than 29 years, hence, Mohun Bagan Athletic Club have decided to respect their love and passion by observing the centenary birth anniversary of late. Sailen Manna together. 

Shri. Swapan Banerjee (Secretary, Kalighat Sports Lovers Association) appreciated all the Dignitaries, Former Footballers and other guests present. Smt. Chandrima Bhattacharya (Minister of State of Health and Family Welfare) was felicitated by our General Secretary - Shri Debashis Dutta and Secretary of Kalighat Sports Lovers Association – Shri. Swapan Banerjee. Smt. Krishna Chakraborty (Hon’ble Mayor – Bidhannagar Municipal Corporation) and Shri Tapas Chatterjee (MLA) expressed their sincere gratitude towards the Legend. Shri Pradip Choudhury, Shri Manoranjan Bhattacharya, and Shri Bidesh Bose also recalled their memories with the legend. Mohun Bagan Athletic Club decided to honor Smt.
