Chairman’s Cup will have school tournament this year for the first time

In the senior level, the tournament will take place with 16 club teams across Kalyani

The second Chairman’s Cup, organized by Kalyani Municipality will kick off from 17th August, Thursday at Kalyani. The competition will be held with two age group teams. 

In the senior level, the tournament will take place with 16 club teams across Kalyani and in other part of the competition all the schools under Kalyani Municipality will also take part.

In a bid to explore and scout potential kids footballers the school-level competition is going to be introduced this year. Twelve school teams will take part. 

The prize money for the champion team in the senior level is Rs 50 thousand while the runner-up senior team will receive Rs 40 thousand
