City Bahadurgarh FC is to play their concluding IWL-2 clash against Khad FC with just eight players!

Football, Second Division IWL, Goa, Haryana, Bahadurgarh FC have lost all of their three matches played so far and they are at the bottom of the league table.

City Bahadurgarh FC, the Haryana champions who are participating in the second division of the Indian Women’s League (IWL) has been in deep crisis before their concluding group league match on Saturday in Goa. 

The team has now only eight footballers available for the match. The team's manager Vinay Joon has officially informed the AIFF that the 12 footballers have left the competition due to the Haryana State Women's championship and now the team is languishing with only eight footballers. 

Joon in his letter to the AIFF, has revealed that the footballers left in two groups. While seven footballers left the team hotel at 3 am on Wednesday, others packed their bags for home three hours later. 

Bahadurgarh FC have lost all of their three matches played so far and they are at the bottom of the league table. The club arrived in Goa after raising money through crowdfunding. They raised the required expenditure for the IWL second division from the villagers and the well-wishers across the country. 

Joon stated, "We earned the qualification to play in the second division IWL and reached here after great difficulties. We wanted to exhibit a spirited show being the first women's team from Haryana to participate in mainstream football. But this was a new experience."
