The Chief Minister gave Mohun Bagan Rs 50 lakh already last year for the reforms in club's infrastructure.
Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee who went to Mohun Bagan ground on Monday afternoon to send her wishes to the ISL champion team, announced the government will present Rs 50 more to the club for being the champion in the ISL this season. The Chief Minister gave Mohun Bagan Rs 50 lakh already last year for the reforms in club's infrastructure.
Chief Minister stated, "Mohun Bagan has brought glory for Bengal. I wish the team will move forward in future, brining more laurels for the state."
Mamata has welcomed the removal of 'ATK' beside Mohun Bagan's name and thanked the corporate boss to replace it by 'Super Giants'. She also claimed, "Once I asked Arup Biswas (the sports minister) to start discussing with the club and its investor group regarding the removal of 'ATK' beside Mohun Bagan. Today I am happy that it has been completed." CM also revealed her family members were also supports of Mohun Bagan. She was seen throwing football towards the fans on the ground as usual.
