Coach rues lack of proper preparation, and hopes to see a few shining in the future

Bengal will play against Haryana, Goa, and Manipur and will start its campaign on 3rd September in the tier-1 of the tournament which is taking place in Berhampore and Maldah.

Under the guidance of Partha Sen under-15, the Bengal team clinched the 37th sub-junior national football championship in 2016.

After seven years Sen has again been in charge of Bengal for the sub-junior national championship, but this time with the under-14 boys.

Bengal will play against Haryana, Goa, and Manipur and will start its campaign on 3rd September in the tier-1 of the tournament which is taking place in Berhampore and Maldah.

Sen speaking from Behampore said, “The only thing that we did not get much time to train as a team after conducting selection trials for a couple of days. So, if the boys fail to deliver their best then also I should not criticize them.”

Still, the experienced coach observes a few potential boys in the team and said, “There are a few potential boys in the team and this tournament will be a good exposure for them. They can shine as footballers in future also.”
