Kidderpore SC lost to East Bengal by nine goals in its last Super-Six match.
Sayantan Das Roy has resigned from the post of Kidderpore SC coach. The key reason is that he has not received last one month's salary. Sayantan resigned on the 18th of September night, on the day after Kidderpore SC was humiliated by Mohammedan Sporting 5-0 on 17th September in their Super-Six match.
Commenting on the issue, Sayantan exploded against the club’s key investor Akash Das, and said, "I joined the team as its coach on 27th June. I was contracted for three months. I obtained the first month’s salary on 28th July. But since then till today, I have not yet received the last one month's salary. I approached him repeatedly but he has only been dilly-dallying with false promises. Even on the day we played a friendly match, I informed club secretary Amitava Biswas about the situation. But I know he does not look after the financial part.”
Sayantan added, “I have been given the last deadline on 28th September regarding my dues. If I do not get my dues tomorrow then I must have to protest in different ways. This cannot continue.”

According to the coach the team’s goalkeeping coach has also not yet received his complete dues.
The coach also was upset on the club's decision to release 14 key footballers before the CFL Super-Six ended. He said, “The club should have thought of the importance of Super-Six group. The executives could have released them but after completing the engagement in the CFL Super-Six. Otherwise, the team would not have to accept such humiliating score-lines like 5-0, 10-1 against East Bengal.”
However, Akash Das, the club's key investor reacting to the allegations, said, “Yes, Sayantan deserves one-month salary. But the behavor he made is extremely unfair. It is not that only coach deserves the salary, a few players also deserved their dues. Everybody will be cleared and that will be within next couple of days. Why did coach leave after Mohammedan Sporting match? he could have left before the match if salary was the main issue.”
Commenting on the 14 key footballers' departure for the I-league teams, Akash added, “We could not retain the footballers who got offers from I-League teams. They are enough intelligent and professional. So, whenever we came to know that the CFL will not be completed by 31st August, I guessed about the disaster in the Super-Six.”
