Confusion and complications go on Sergio Lobera's trip to India

According to the Chinese website Lobera is going to be replaced by Jesas Tato on an interim basis.

The confusion and complications are still continuing over Spanish manager Sergio Lobera's joining Indian ISL clubs. According to news released by a Chinese website Chinese club Sichuan Jiuniu has announced that Lobera has been relieved of the team's head coach's position. According to the Chinese website Lobera is going to be replaced by Jesas Tato on an interim basis.

It means Lobera will receive the No Objection Certificate (NOC) from Sichuan Jiuniu and he will have no difficulty joining the ISL teams which have been after him for the last couple of months.

Along with East Bengal and Odisha FC which were front runners regarding the recruitment of this Spanish coach, Hyderabad FC has reportedly joined the race, offering an astronomical amount of money to get him.

But the Indian agent of Lobera confirmed on Friday evening that nothing has happened so far. He said, "None of the news is true. Lobera is still negotiating with Sichuan bosses. It is not even clear whether the Chinese club will release him at all as his contract will end next year."
