Crespo likely to continue with East Bengal

it is believed that East Bengal's top brass is in talks with Italian striker Tommaso Biasci for the next season.

Saul Crespo is set to sign the extension offer from the East Bengal club despite having interests from other ISL clubs.

It is learned that he is staying with East Bengal for two more seasons. Crespo who received offers also from a few ISL teams for the next season was initially ruled out for the season, after suffering a thigh injury in the Kolkata Derby against Mohun Bagan Super Giant earlier in the month.

Crespo however scored four goals in 14 matches he participated in the ISL this season. East Bengal’s Brazilian striker and captain Cleiton Silva has also reportedly decided to sign the offer of his contract extension for the next season.

However, it is believed that East Bengal's top brass is in talks with Italian striker Tommaso Biasci for the next season. The 29-year-old striker donned a Serie-B team Catanzaro last season where he scored 22 goals in 57 matches.
