Former Indian cricketer Sandip Patil released Cricketer Yearbook 2023 at a city hotel on Saturday. He had a praise for the effort that has guided the editorial department which has been publishing the book for last consecutive 25 years. 

Simultaneously, Patil one of the key members of 1983 World Cup winning Indian team remembered saying, "It would have been difficult for us to reach the final if unknown Zimbabwe had not defeated fancied Australia." Patil also mentioned Kapil's unbeaten 175 against Zimbabwe as one of the most memorable happenings in that World Cup.
