One of the big unknowns following Portugal’s elimination from the European Championship is the plans of iconic Cristiano Ronaldo.

The 39-year-old Portuguese is reportedly planning to continue playing and former Romanian footballer Adrian Mutu, in an interview with IAM Sport revealed that he knows Ronaldo’s ultimate desire.

Mutu revealed, “Cristiano Ronaldo has a similar goal to NBA legend Lebron James. That is to play a professional match with his eldest son and that is why he does not want to stop now. Playing with his eldest son in a professional match has been his dream in recent times and it is his motivation.”

Mutu continued, “With Al-Nassr it is possible. I do not know whether he ends up at another team. But with Real Madrid, it will be difficult." His son, Cristiano Ronaldo Jr aged 14, is currently part of the youth ranks of Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia.
