David and Dettol direct the Black Panthers to Super Six, assistant coach praises Mehrajuddin’s contribution

Eastern Railway drubbed West Bengal Police 4-1, Police AC stunned Calcutta Customs 4-0, and BSS Sporting forced Bhawanipore FC to split points with a goalless draw.

Mohammedan defeated Dalhousie 3-0 in their CFL Premier Division league match on Monday at home. After playing their 11th match in the group, the Black Panthers is on the of the League table with 28 points. David Lalhlansangha struck twice to take his goals to 13, the highest in the League so far and Dettol Moirangthem scored the other for the winner.

The team’s assistant coach Shahid Ramon who has been with the team right from the beginning of the season and guiding the boys after Mehrajuddin Wadoo was suddenly removed from the coach's post, however, had praise for the previous coach's contribution. He stated, “Mehrajuddin guided the boys in 10 matches including the CFL and Durand Cup and he became the winner in the eight matches out of 10. 

So you cannot take away his contribution from our success so far in the CFL. He was proficient and hardworking in keeping the boys fit and his style of coaching was mainly with the ball. That is why, the boys were learning technique gradually.”
