DHFC reach top of the League table in their group

Kalighat MS is on the second spot so far with 21 points from 10 matches.

Diamond Harbour FC, with a convincing 3-0 victory against Dalhousie AC on Friday at the Bidhannagar Municipality ground, reached the top of the League table in their group.

DHFC has garnered 23 points after their 10th Premier Division match on the day, overtaking Kalighat MS which is on the second spot so far with 21 points from 10 matches.

Still, DHFC’s Spanish coach Kibu Vikuna did not seem satisfied. After the match on the day, the coach has reportedly asked his footballers to set focus on the team’s next crucial match against Mohun Bagan.

Jacob Vanlalpuia broke the deadlock scoring an easy goal for DHFC. Tuhin Sikdar doubled the lead, unleashing a superb 20-yeard left footer from the far right which stunned the Dalhousie AC custodian and Rahul Paswan scored the third one for DHFC.
