Dhoni guides Chennai to triumph over arch rivals Mumbai

Sri Lankan Pathirana picked three wickets to crash MI innings.

Chennai Super Kings won the El-Clasico at Chepak. The two arch rivals met for the second time this season and MI lost in both. It was not easy for the MI to score 139, but CSK chased the total comfortably. After Ruturaj and Conway made a perfect start, Conway and Rahane added the score when Ruturaj departed. Dubey finished the game quickly hitting three sixes at the end. CSK registered their win with 16 balls to spare. Piyush Chawla was the only bowler who bowled a tight spell and picked up a couple of wickets. Earlier when MI was invited to bat first, Deepak Chahar and Deshpande got an early breakthrough. The best bowling spell was from Pathirana for the host team. The Sri Lankan picked three wickets to crash the MI innings. Only Wadhera gave a lone fight scoring 64 runs. CSK now with 13 points, stands at the second spot compared to MI who are in sixth place. 

CSK will now face Delhi Capitals at home while MI will also play their home match against RCB.
