Di Maria to visit Kolkata, will inaugurate Dutta's High-Performance Centre

After Di Maria's trip, Dutta's aim is to organize a tour of Lionel Messi to India and Bangladesh.

The initiative from Satadru Dutta, the sports promoter from Bengal is going to help Kolkata once again to witness Argentine World Cupper Angel Di Maria. 

Dutta who has been instrumental in bringing the legendary World footballers starting from Bebeto, Higuita, and Dunga to Cafu, the late Pele, and late Maradona, brought Argentine World Cupper custodian Emiliano Martinez in July and legendary Ronaldinho recently in October last year.

This time, Dutta has the desire to fulfil his dream where Di Maria will be inaugurating his High Performance Centre at Rishra in Hooghly district. Dutta is currently in Rosario, the city known for the nation's two most valuable characters, Che Guevara and Lionel Messi. 

 

Considering plans so far, the 36-year-old midfielder who played alongside Messi and was also influential in guiding Argentina to win the World Cup in Qatar last year will be in Bengal for one-and-half days before going to Bangladesh for the same period. 

Dutta who is in Rosario to finalize the tour informed Di Maria's trip is likely to materialize in May-June this year. 

Speaking from Rosario, Dutta revealed, “Di Maria will be inaugurating the High Performance Centre I have set up at Rishra. It is nearly 10 thousand square fit areas. I will import ultra-modern equipment to install there. I already have talks with a couple of experienced and qualified grass-route coaches from Europe and Latin America. They will groom the boys. The number of boys will be not more than six and their age will be not more than eight years.” 

Dutta’s six-year-old son Diago will also be one of these six kids and a high-performance coach in Arsenal's grass-route department who rains Dutta's son is likely to be involved in the project.

 

According to Dutta, these boys will be groomed in a way that they can settle their careers in the premier teams of either Europe or Latin America in the future. 

During the one-and-half-day visit, Dutta will organize a felicitation program where former international footballers from Bengal who are not financially well at the moment will receive some financial grants from the hands of Di Maria. 

his art football clinic has been planned to be conducted where Di Maria will be requested to share his journey. Dutta said, "Di Maria also had to defy dire financial distress in his childhood. His mother used to take him to training, cycling eight kilometers every day."
