Diamond Harbour FC defeated Mohun Bagan by a solitary goal in their crucial group league match at Naihati Stadium on Sunday.

Supriya Pandit scored the only goal off a decent left-footer from outside the box immediately after the match kicked off. 

Diamond Harbour FC finished their group league engagement with 29 points after the 12th match while Mohun Bagan also ensured a berth in the Super-Six of the CFL premier division with 24 points in 12 matches. Despite the same points as Kalighat MS, the green-and-maroon brigade advanced to the Super Six on the basis of goal difference with Kalighat MS.
