
Drogba, in partnership with Nepal Super League through the Didier Drogba Foundation, will be donating Rs 20 Lakh to the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund.
Former footballer Didier Drogba, best known for his career at Chelsea, will be part of the second edition of the Nepal Super League (NSL). Kathmandu Rayzers has announced the legendary Ivory Coast striker will be donning the team’s shirts in the second edition of the Nepal Super League, scheduled to commence on 24th November.
The NSL statement reads, “Nepal Super League would like to announce that the football legend, Didier Drogba is set to grace Nepal with his presence for the upcoming season of the Nepal Super League.”
Before he becomes a part of the NSL, Drogba, in partnership with Nepal Super League through the Didier Drogba Foundation, will be donating Rs 20 Lakh to the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund.
In a video message posted on Kathmandu Rayzer’s official Facebook page the former Chelsea striker expressed deep anguish for the earthquake victims and also offered consolation to the people who are still in disastrous condition after the 3rd November earthquake.
This contribution aims to provide crucial assistance to earthquake victims and support the ongoing relief efforts in Nepal.
