East Bengal even after securing an early lead couldn't solidify their victory today.
The match started on a rather aggressive note with Vibin committing a foul 3 minutes into the game.

The fast half was goalless, with several unsuccessful attacks by both of the teams. In the second half, East Bengal took the lead when Vishnu scored a net at 59 minutes with the help of Diamantakos.

However, the Blasters equalized in the 63rd minute when Sadaoui struck with a powerful shot from the left flank. The match continued with relentless attacks and counterattacks until Kwame Peprah netted the winning goal from the penalty box in the 88th minute, leaving the EBFC defenders unmoved.
