East Bengal’s winning streak continued as the Red-and-Gold brigade humbled Calcutta Customs 4-1 in their ‘Super Six’ round match of the ongoing CFL Premier Division at home on Thursday. PV Vishnu struck twice while Adil Amal and Shyamal Besra scored one each for the winners. Ravi Hansda, the top scorer of Calcutta Customs in the CFL Premier Division group league, reduced the margin for Calcutta Customs. 

In another Super-Six match of the CFL Premier Division on the day Mohmmedan Sporting earned full points with a 2-0 victory against Bhawanipore FC on the day at the Naihati Stadium. The match had to be declared abandoned following torrential rain during the match on the scheduled day on Wednesday.
