East Bengal extends contract with Naorem for three years

Mahesh made 8 goals and 7 assists in 48 appearances so far

A delightful announcement by the Emami East Bengal FC ascertains the news that a three-year contract extension has been signed by Naorem Mahesh Singh which will keep him in the club till 2027.

Emami East Bengal FC head coach Carles Cuadrat believes in the young attacker's progress and exemplifies the ideals of the East Bengal FC.

The 24-year old felt emotional after signing his contract extension. He said that this club is not just a club but his family. The young attacker started his ISL career in this club and is excited to continue his journey here. 

The club's leading previous year assist provider and this year's Super Cup's top scorer in the club, Mahesh hails from Manipur. He is also the first Indian to register a hat-trick in ISL history against  Jamshedpur FC last season. 

Mahesh started his international career in March 2023 against Mayanmar. He also has won three titles with the national team.

Since his India debut Mahesh has featured in 13 international matches and has scalped two international goals against Nepal and Iraq.
