In the second division Hero I-league today East Bengal FC Reserve Team registered a 5 – 0 win over Diamond Rock FC, Balaghat. For the winning team, Wahengbam Angousana scored two goals in the 25th and 55th minutes. The other scorers are Amarjit Singh Kiyam in the 37th minute and Vivek Singh in the 76th minute while Talib Gulzar banged an own goal at the stroke of the halftime. This was the last home match for EBFC Reserve Team.

EBFC started with Muhammed Nishad under the bars who had to be replaced by Suryash Jaiswal in the 13th minute after the former suffered from a concussion.

The EBFC Reserve team will now face Shillong Lajong FC in their final match on 29th April at Shillong.
