Jesin TK, Mahitosh Roy, Tuhin and Avishek Kunjam scored the goals for EBFC
East Bengal's B team is playing for pride in their last three matches of the Calcutta Football League in the Premier Division. They demolished fast-emerging Diamond Harbour FC 4-1 at the East Bengal Ground in Kolkata Maidan on Monday.
The first half was an electrifying one as it showcased the attack filled actions of both sides. In the last 10 minutes both sides scored a goal each.
East Bengal was aiming for Diamond Harbour's goal and it finally paid off in the 36th minute as Jesin TK scored a stunning goal to give East Bengal the lead.

DHFC soon equalised in the added minutes of the first half with the brilliant show from Rahul Paswan who adjusted his body and put the ball in the net from a misdirected pass.
In the second half of the game EBFC were desperate to score. Almost at the hour mark, Roshal was fouled by a Diamond Harbour defender, and Mahitosh Roy stepped up to convert the penalty into a striking goal.
The youthful presence and high pressure of East Bengal kept putting their rivals under pressure. In the 78th minutes super sub Tuhin breached past DHFC's defenses and found the back of the net.
Substitute Avishek Kunjam sealed East Bengal's victory as he made the score 4-1 with a tap-in from close range with Mahitosh Roy's assistance.
East Bengal showed off their talent and dominated the game as they made light work of the best defense in CFL 2023 with four goals.
